question re; water for babies

I have a question re: water cups....My ds2 is 5 months old today - yay! - but seems to be ready to drop a milk feed (down to 4 per day instead of 5) and I know it says on the cup to give from 6 months but surely I could try him with it now?????? Thoughts????

Dont want him to get thirsty.....

just try it and see how he goes. Dont give too much though as it could put him off the remaining milk feeds
