DD is 23 weeks, was sleeping ok up till this week (going at least 3 hours, sometimes 6 at night) The last 3 nights she's woken every 2 hours, is it a growth spurt or does she just hate me!

Is she hungry or just after a cuddle?
If the latter, is it teething (mind you, that is put down as possible reason for everything!)

don't want to upset you but my ds started this at 5 months, now at 7 months he wakes up at least every 45 mins for a feed and has to sleep in my bed every night and for the last 3 has been awake for about 4 hours in the night just playing and I haven't had more than 2.5 hours sleep in 7 months now

she's def hungry, takes a full feed each time. zwiggy we had a week of 45 mins when she was about 3 months, its awful isnt it? guess i'll just have to put up with it for a while.

If she is taking the full feed and is hungry, it's probably a growth spurt. Have you tried giving her a bit extra at each feed? Maybe she will go a bit longer? Just an idea.

Sorry couldn't be much help.

our baby is 5 months old too, and he recently started waking every 3 hrs in the night -which I know is not a big deal, and I am pretty lucky really, but was strange as right from the beginning he would go at least 4 hrs between feeds at night. Everyone said maybe he was ready for solids. I was just about to cave and get some baby rice or whatever but then last night he slept again from 8pm to 4am, yay! He woke briefly once only at midnight, probably because I dropped a pint mug of water all over the bedroom floor and then slammed my knee into the end of the bed, hm, clever - but I was able to shush him back to sleep without feeding him. So, I think it was partly a growth spurt and partly a comfort thing as he has recently been becoming so much more aware of everything - I think his little brain is buzzing and so he is less able to go back to sleep on his own if he wakes up at night.

My little man came out of scbu with a 4 to 4.5 hour sleep feed rhytm, so I was never sleep deprived until about 5 months and bam, up every 2.5 to three hours, sometimes more. I was sorely tempted to chuck in the bf and give him a huge bedtime bottle, but I wanted to see his sensitive digestive system through onto solids first. That is now paying off (he is 7 months, eating lots of different foods and has made the shift from yogurt-with-mustard to nice well digested brown stuff)and he is occassionally giving me six hours now, although it is hit and miss.

So I guess I wanted to say it may well be solids she needs.
