Changing formula / poo and amount of formula DS drinks - Is this normal?

Hi,

DS is 3 months tomorrow... He has been SMA Gold from about 6 weeks (exc bf for 4 weeks, mixed fed for 2 afterwards). In the last week and a half, he has been possetting badly, which he never used to do. Also, he started drawing up his legs etc and crying quite a bit. He's always been a bit of a crier. So we decided to change his formula (to C&G) and also to start him on Colief as we suspect he has colic.

He took to the new formula fine and on the first day we started him on the new milk and Colief, he slept through from 7am-7pm (dream feed at 11pm). I don't know if that is coincidence... However, when he has been on SMA, his poo has always been green (and he always strained to poop) and fairly solid. His poo this morning (after a full day on C&G) is very yellow, seedy and runny. Should I be concerned? He didn't strain to go this time so it caught us by surprise, is this good or bad? He seems more settled during the day though and not crying as much and definitely has stopped possetting so much.

Also, he has been on pretty much the same amount of formula since week 8 (about 26oz a day). I thought they were meant to be increasing the amount they drink? He has no problem putting weight on though (put on 13oz last week and moving up the growth charts!). What do you all think? Thanks!
