Widgey Cushion - any good or any other recommendations?

I need to buy a new breastfeeding cushion for imminent third baby. I used to have the v shaped cushion but found it a bit soft and baby used to sink in it so I was a bit slouched when breastfeeding and so back ached.
Is widgey quite firm? It looks good but do not know anyone who has actually used it, any ideas?
Many thanks.

I have a Boppy Breast feeding pillow which is great and firm. It's semi circle shaped so goes around your middle. Still supports my 4 month old who weigh 18lb 7oz. Bought off ebay for £6 and it goes in washing machine. They are great!

I used widgey but found ds2 slipped between me and the cushion. Good when sat upright cross legged in bed. That however screwed my pelvis but that's another story.
I've used a normal bed pillow since 6 weeks! He's 13 mths now

I use a basic v shaped pillow with a cushion underneath if I need extra support.

I tried the widgy at a friends house once and couldn't get comfortable with it at all.

I found the My Breast Friend an absolute godsend. There is no problem with your LO slipping between you and the pillow, you can use it at any height so good if you have smaller boobs and it kept DS's body nice and straight. I really wish I'd had it at the start.

I would buy the my breast friend pillow. It is miles better than a v shaped cushion. It gives you good back support. I was getting a really sore back bfing in bed and this helped a lot.

I got mine cheap on ebay.

Widgy is nice and firm and good height for me, but find DS slips into gap which meant he pulled on nipple. Owie. Have gone back to normal pillow which is better.

Hi Janus,

Just in case you are interested in a My Brest Friend, I have one for sale. I only used it for a month as I failed miserably at bf-ing. The cover is the blue stripey one and I've washed and ironed it. Thinking of keeping it for the next DC but not sure when that is going to happen now! I've signed up for CAT today but in the meantime, if you want to email me, it's eangie at hotmail dot com and GL!

Angel, sorry I didn't see your message until I had already started bidding on ebay for one! Just won it yesterday so if you want to discuss with Chequers then please do go ahead.
Thanks for all the advice everyone, hope it proves to be a success!
