Newspaper article - breast fed for "too long"

I've seen some threads recently about bf myths and "normalising" bf so thought this may interest some of you. It was printed in the celebrity gossip page of The Star, one of the main Johannesburg daily newspapers (and quotes comments made to an American magazine). Not really expecting a response - just thought it tied in with some comments that bf generally, and especially beyond a few months, is seen as a bit odd and how seeing celebrities bf or having bf TV shows might help make bf more accepted.

"Kanye West is obsessed with big boobs, because he was breast fed for too long. He thinks his love for breasts stems from his mom's decision not to wean him off the nipple until he was past the accepted age. He told New York magazine: 'I have liked big tits ever since I was a kid. I was breastfed for too long I think. It messed me up.'"

Unluckily for my DD I plan to continue to "mess her up" by bf her...!

I can't see what makes Kanye West's opinion more valid or informed than that of the next oh 90 million breast obssessed men who weren't breastfed.

ohh, i saw that quote in the celeb bit of the metro and i thought wtf? was very irritated about it.

what a load of rubbish. So KW is obsessed with boobs because he was bf - poor, poor thing. Don't we all feel sorry for him. FFS show me a man that isn't obsessed with breasts!
