Infant feeding

My DS has way less milk than it says he should on the cartons, but he is a whopper!

It says on the carton he should be having 6oz bottles five times a day, so 30 oz in total (he is 2 months)
He only drinks 3 or 4 oz at most and has 5 bottles a day, so is having only just over half the recommended amount!!

He is quite big though. Was born big and is following his growth line so far...

Is it ok to be drinking so little still? and how on earth is he getting so big on so little milk???

Oh I think what they say on those cartons is aload of rubbish. What your ds is drinking sounds absolutely fine to me. My ds never drank the amount they said. Could it be to get you to buy more milk , do you think

my ds is the same age and drinks the same amount as yours does, he seems fine and is growing well, he must be about 13lbs now.
