Infant feeding

what sling do you use to feed in?

i have a microfleece calin bleu one, an infantino bag thing and a freedom sling (ring sling) and haven't managed to crack feeding in any of them!
any advice/other recommendations?

I can only feed in dh's hotsling (basic non-adjustable pouch type) - the pouch sling that fits me to carry her holds her too close to feed, iyswim.

I had a huggababy with dd2 and it was pretty good for feeding. I was able to feed her whilst walking round the shops etc. And when she fell asleep in the huggababy it was easy to take the sling off and lay it down with her still asleep in it.

the 2nd one is very like my freedom sling, maybe i should have another go!

I had a moby wrap sling and tried many times to bf in it with no success

I used to breastfeed in a freedom ring sling - thought I was quite the earthmum as I used to do it walking the dogs! To be honest though only really got the hang of it when the little one was three months plus and we'd both really got the hang of the feeding thing
