Just that reaaly. How many ounces do you need for a feed? My baby usually takes two or three ounces but I've seen people on here giving 5 or 6. Is she taking enough? She's feeding - either breast or bottle, every 2 hours. She's 4 weeks old.

If she's taking 2 or 3 ounces and not draining the bottle dry and still wanting more then that's a feed! Doesn't matter what anyone's else's baby drinks. Definitely don't compare with FF babies or those not fed on demand. Just follow your DD's lead and all will be well

sounds about right IMO susiemj every baby is different and you shouldnt worry too much as long as she steadily gains weight etc. my DD had 3-4oz of EBM after 4 weeks every so often and never used to finish a feed. she was BF on demand every 2-3 hours from about 2 weeks old aswell. you will know when she isnt satisfied by her behaviour and she will cry for a feed earlier aswell. i always put more than was needed in the bottle just in case (usually i had expressed as i was going out somewhere) and she always left milk in the bottle.
