Infant feeding

Can I just say hurrah for my lovely GP

I took ds2 to the docs today, and she was really lovely, despite not being my registered GP, she remembered from 4 weeks ago that I was still bf him, and smiled as she said it, no attempt to make me stop, or criticise it, and when I started to feed him she offered to find me a room to feed him in so I didn't have to sit in the packed waiting room to do it

I'm quite happy to feed in the waiting room btw, just that he wasn't breathing well, and was getting noisier as he went on

Oh, what a nice change it is to hear of a supportive GP. IKWYM about noise, btw, ds used to make noises suggestive of a creaking gate badly in need of oiling.

I just thought that as there have been several threads with less than helpful GP's lately it was nice to be able to praise one

Good to hear. It makes such a change to hear a positive GP story.

Yes. Lovely.
Although in an ideal world we should consider this to be the norm.
