I'm a FTM, baby is 10 weeks. He's mainly BF but we had quite a bit of difficulty at the start, so topped up with formula. He still has one feed of formula a day, which my partner usually gives while I have a break. The bottles we use are 120ml, but my partner sometimes refills it so baby has more than 120ml. I'm not really sure how much is too much and sometimes he sicks up a bit of the formula or seems to get a bit distressed after having it and won't settle. I think my partner might over feed when he gives the bottle. He thinks as long as baby keeps sucking, he must be hungry and that when he is upset, hunger is usually the reason so will go for a bottle before other things. However, I have read plenty of things saying baby's will keep sucking on a bottle and can't stop themselves. Those of you who are FF... How do you know when baby is full?
