Looking for advice.
I’m cutting down my expressing to stop, on Friday I’m due to cut down to 3 pumps in 24hrs, then the following Friday down to 2 in 24hrs.
So the following Friday I would be cutting down to 1 pump in 24hrs.
Currently I do 9,3,9&3
So on Friday I would be down to 11am, 7pm and 3am to make them evenly apart, following Friday I would to 3pm and 3am.
So, does my single pump in 24hrs need to be the middle of the night? Or Can I just stop all together and then express if I’m uncomfortable? (I never get that ‘full’ feeling), or would that be risking blocked ducts?
When I was stopping breastfeeding I read that once you are down to 2 you could stop without going to one. I'd assume it's the same with expressing to be honest. I was a bit uncomfortable for a couple of days but a slight expression in a warm shower would solve that.
