We've spent weeks researching and testing breast pumps and bottles in real homes with real families. Read our baby feeding bottle and breast pump reviews to find out which ones were awarded Mumsnet Best.

(2 Posts)Hi,
My babies 7 1/2 months old he is currently teething and just bites my nipples in the day I can barely get 4/5 feeds out of him in a 24 hour period he eats lots of solids and will prefer it over breastfeeding (guessing it's the teeth) is this normal should he be having more feeds?
At this age they take roughly the same amount if milk if you feed twice or twenty times, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that.
I would try and tackle the biting though. Some Mums find it helps to feed lying down. If that doesn’t work, I’d give one of the BFing Helplines a call. Have you got the Numbers?
