Hi I don’t know if anyone had this before but my baby prefers the left boob and has now left my right boob so much smaller as she won’t feed from it! Help! I look so strange! Has anyone had this? How can I even out? Will I ever even out?
Both of mine preferred one side over the other for a few weeks, until we cracked it. How old is LO and what have you tried so far?
Oh and you might get a few more responses if you ask @MNHQ to move this over to the Infant Feeding Section
@JiltedJohnsJulie she’s 6 months but this has only started recently and a because we was away I just went with it and now I’m worried the other one has dried up!
@MNHQ please could I move this over to the infant feeding section? Thanks!
We've done that for you now, @Msd2416
This happened to me with all my children, especially the youngest who had a strong preference for the right side. I'm happy to tell you everything evened out eventually after I stopped breastfeeding and after a few months I was back to normal.
DC2 always preferred the left side and from 9mo through to 19mo only fed from that side.
They are now 21mo (not been BF for 3 months) and I'm no longer lopsided, but only just.
@pastabest oh really! That makes me feel better did you do anything to sort them or just stop BF x
