Worth trying c&g comfort?

We started ds on aptamil. However we found it so frothy he was getting full of wind. HV suggested aldis mamia. He took it well but whether coincidence or not but since he's been constipated. Poops ever 3 days.. First nappy will Be a hard solid big poop. Then as changing his nappy it is looser follwwed by diareah. Then again the same process 3 days later

He seems to always be in pain and uncomfortable with his belly.

Cant get a gp apt till next Thurs. We did mention it last week who suggested cmpa but wanted to ch eck again at next apt what he's been like and look at dairy free formula. Ideally I'd like to avoid this if by any chance it could be the current formula.

Was wondering if worth chnagung to comfort for colic and constipation before the next apt.?

Go with the dairy free formula.

Can I ask why you want to avoid the DF formula? Just out of interest as I have CMPA

Oh and if he's not right with Aptamil, please don't try Cow & Gate, it's basically the same stuff made in the same factory. Much better to try a completely different brand.
