How to drop 5.30am Feed

Hi,
My 9 month old baby wakes at 5.30am every morning for a feed. Once fed he will settle back down in his cot and fall back to sleep until 7.30ish. I am going back to work next month and will need to be up at 6.30 so ideally could do with him sleeping that little bit longer. Does anyone have any tips on how to possible drop this feed until later?

Is he warm enough at 5.30? I'm just wondering if a drop in temperature could be initiating the wake up?

Have you tried giving the feed 10 minutes later? Once he's got used to that, you could try 10 minutes after that until you get you the tine you want.

If he's not waking overnight and he settles back to sleep after this feed, you are very lucky though OP Smile

Forgot to add that the No Cry Sleep Solution has some tips on early waking too Smile

JiltedJohnsJulie
Thanks for your advice. Smile
Will try to feed him later if I can and see how we get on. Tried a little controlled crying with him over the months and be responded well so hopefully will help x
