Infant feeding

So I need to pump?

My poor wee DD (12 weeks) has a horrible cold and hasn't been feeding properly for a couple of days now. She is EBF and has been feeding maybe only for 5 minutes every 4-5 hours during the day and around 10 minutes during the night after a 6 hour sleep. I'm a bit worried that my milk will dry up or I won't have enough for her when she gets better. Should I be pumping milk to make sure this doesn't happen? And if so how much should I pump and should I freeze it? Any advice/suggestions would be welcome!

I forgot to mention that in weeks previous to having this cold she has been a really good feeder and would always feed for between 10-40 minutes at a time every 3 hours...

Your health visitor should be able to help you with this. I had suspected mastitis when dd2 was 3 weeks and she lent me a pump (not hers it's for any mother) and showed me how to use it and what to do with the expressed milk.
