(5 Posts)Hi,
I went out last night for the first time and did something so so so stupid I feel like the worlds worst mum. After a couple of drinks I took 2 lines of cocaine. The last time I took is was 1am. I have a 11 week old who I breastfeed. Anyways I have not breastfed him today or when I got home, he has had formula. I feel terrible. When will I be able to breastfeed again? I'm currently expressing and throwing it away. X
If you can contact Wendy from the breastfeeding network she can help with things like this (type Wendy breastfeeding network into Facebook search and it will come up)
Someone asked this in a group I'm in and I'm sure it was at least 72 hours but she will be able to tell you better than I can.
If baby is so young you will have to pump and dump to keep supply up
You need to pump and dump for at least 48 hours, 78 just to be safe really.
72*
