We've spent weeks researching and testing breast pumps and bottles in real homes with real families. Read our baby feeding bottle and breast pump reviews to find out which ones were awarded Mumsnet Best.

(4 Posts)This might be an odd one but do you get cool bags that can safely store made up bottles of formula for around a 12 hour period in a backpack?
You'd need to pack with ice packs etc as well but probably up to 6 hours is more realistic
Thanks. I was asking because I'd spent the day with a friend who just seemed to be getting bottles out of her bag for the whole day and wasn't sure if that was safe or not.
Then I remembered those cartons and that she was probably using those
In a cool bag with ice packs, made up formula can be stored for 4 hours. Unless she used cartons, in which case they last ages until opened
