11 mo breastfed baby refusing sippy cup and now solid food

Hi all

I have an 11 month old I'm trying to introduce a sippy cup to as I'm going back to work in a month.
Started offering one sippy cup a day at midday with lunch, but she is not interested in the cup, just wants breast. She is hungry cos she's trying to breastfeed and im trying to continue to offer cup at the midday feed. I give her breast rest of the time. It's only been a few days so should I just continue?

She's been a good solid food self feeder up til now, and now is chucking all her meals on the floor/hardly eating a thing for the last two days

I want to continue bfeeding at night and first thing in the morning, but give formula in the day from a sippy cup, and so far have only tried to drop one 'feed'.

Any ideas how to encourage her to drink? Tried multiple vessels. Beginning to worry how little she's eating. Thanks!

Sorry just to clarify - she's been breastfed up to this point, with a bit of water in a cup at meal times.

I think it's difficult to persuade when the wanted BF is there.

She'll be different when she's with someone else.

Plus a month is still a long time for a baby

PS you don't need to give formula in the day if you don't want to. BF babies get the milk they need when they are with their mothers and often do without in between.

Plus she could have cow's milk as an alternative from 12m
