I need to leave my 6mo with MIL for about 6 hours, so will need to allow for a couple of bottle feeds. Baby is basically breastfed but will take formula from a bottle. I want things to be easy for MIL.
Can I sterilize the bottles in advance and leave them in the fridge with the bottle caps in place, and then MIL will take them out and pour in ready-to-feed liquid formula from the tin?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. Baby usually gets one bottle a day at bedtime so I'm unsure about the more complicated logistical factors associated with making up bottle feeds.
Sterilise them and leave them on the side with lids on I didn't know this until my son was a few months old despite always bottle feeding him They are sterile for 24 hours once you have sterilised them if you put lids and caps on them x
