(2 Posts)Hi, I’m switching my 1 year old to cows milk, he still enjoys having his bottles and would have 2/3 daily. I would’ve made him 7oz bottles from formula but going by google a 1 year old only needs up to 8 oz of cows milk a day!!
So I’m wondering if it will harm him if he has more than this?? As they’re not supposed to have cows milk before 1 and he’s just turned 1. My other 2 kids refused to drink cows milk at this age so was never an issue 🤷♀️
It's 300 mls per day which is 10/11oz. I'd give the same amount as you would formula to start with. It will reduce as he takes more solid food
