Mastitis and healing bite

Been breastfeeding for 2y Over week ago noticed the classic mastitis signs coming so quickly got 2 weeks of antibiotics and continues to feed on bad side. Following day DS bit the infected side so hard and held on that he broke skin in full circle around nipple so lots bleeding. Next 48h uncomfortable but bearable then stabbing pain almost like spasms started now nippe more swollen. Had mastitis few time but today the pain is littlerally toe curling to sweary scream point where I would quite happily not feed from that side again ever ! Been reading old thread about massaging breast / trying to unblock ducts as all feels a bit bumpy or just leave and hope antibiotics will clear. I haven’t used electric pump for a year but thinking about is it worth while to do a controlled drainage ? Any advise would be great . Currently ibuprofen and paracetamol up to max and thinking about ice pack!
Any ideas gratefully received x

If you can’t feed through it (and I understand and sympathise!) then yes I’d try to pump through it. I’ve pumped blockages through before. It hurts but the relief once it’s gone!

Thanks been feeding as much as possible from bad side and improving so finger crossed it’s getting better or unblocked!

Also, heat helps more than cold - and wet heat is best. I bought some things you microwave them tuck in your bra which felt weird but in a nice way! And lecithin can help you pass blockages and prevent them going forward. Worth reading up on.
