Milk Protein Allergy

DS1 (now 5yrs old) suffered a protein allergy. We didn’t discover that was the cause until the 12wk mark, although knew something was wrong. Doctors had previously put it down to reflux etc.

Switching from cows milk to prescription formula was amazing, we went from upset and miserable baby to happy settled one overnight.

Our second DS is just over two weeks old. We are currently combination feeding, but finding pooing a bit of a struggle. This was one of the indicators for our first DS, although currently not as bad.

Just wondering what the odds are of DS2 having the same allergy as DS1....?

If you've had one, it's definitely worth trailing Dairy free. Smile
