(8 Posts)My daughter has been exclusively formula fed (cow and Gate) from birth with no problems. Gained lots of weight etc. However this evening she has started writhing around and crying when feeding she'll have a couple of swallows but then start to squirm and cry. She doesn't seem to be uncomfortable otherwise - although when I put her in her crib she woke up after 30 minutes which is unusual for her, but could just be because she hasn't fed enough 😭
Have tried winding her for ages with no luck, rubbing her tummy etc, but she's still not able to take more than a few mls when she feeds before it getting too uncomfortable for her.
What on earth do I do? Can't bear to see her suffering! 😭😭
She's having her dummy fine so I don't think it's a mouth / swallowing problem?
First time mum and feeling so helpless about my poor baby 😭
It could just be wind. Have a look on YouTube at the Tiger in the Tree hold. That usually shifts it
If you have a yoga ball try bouncing on it. It's the only thing that calms my ds and it brings wind up a treat.
if it's the anti colic teats the hole has to be at the top when feeding( I'm sure You know this!) but i didnt😁🙋
Tr switching to the next stage up teats (bigger hole) or sterilising a needle and making one bigger ?
Silent reflux?
Have you tried infacol to help get wind up?
Just to make you aware if you’ve changed from the red lid to green lid cow and gate (same box for infants) it’s a new formula that been plying a lot of children up
