My boy is 6months and has no problem during the day. He burps easily after a bottle and farts all day long. However at night he is a disaster. He goes down about 8 and is usually up within an hour screaming in pain and full of wind. Then last night he cried nearly every hour, then he’d fart a lot, and go straight back to sleep.
We use mam bottles, hipp milk, I’ve used colactase drops, infacol, gripe water. We wind him well before bed, bicycle legs, etc etc.
What confuses me the most is how there’s even that much wind in there in the first place. My mum, who has seen plenty of babies, says she’s never seen a baby with as much wind as him.
When I’ve spoken to doctor/health visitor they say all babies have wind, but I really thought by 6mths these problems would be behind us.
Anyone in the same boat?
