Who has advised you to give hungry baby milk? It’s not very good for them.

Your baby isn't hungry. How often are you giving them 8oz? Who has told you to use this formula?

And yes- at this stage they do chew their hands and as far as I’m aware it doesn’t mean they’re hungry necessarily. It might mean that they’re tired or that they just enjoy slurping on their hands.

My family nurse advised me to put my baby on hungrier baby milk but heard a lot of bad reviews since putting my baby on it and my family nurse has said the way she's chewing her hands is a sign that she's still hungry as it's straight after her bottles so I am going on what my family nurse/health advisor is telling me

How often does she have bottles?

She's on a bottle every four hours at the moment

Does she empty the bottle? Does she cry afterwards?

Empty's the bottle and cry's like half an hour to an hour after the bottle

Try feeding more often than every 4 hours - its a long time between feeds.

My three month old chews his hands because he is teething. He has two teeth coming through.

I’d just give more standard stage 1 formula and feed on demand rather than every four hours.

Try feeding her when she shows feeding cues and if she drains the bottle offer her more.

I would stick to stage 1 milk. Up the bottle to 9oz and offer more frequently.

It is normal for them to chew their hands at this age.
