I used Aptamil last time, but considering this for my second. Only problem is my hospital won't have the ready made bottles available for us to use when in - I'll need these as I'll more than likely have a section so will stay at least overnight and they don't seem to sell the starter packs over here (Northern Ireland).

Would it be ok to use whatever they have at hospital for first day etc and switch to Hipp when I get out of hospital or try and get my hands on a few starter packs to bring in with me?

Of course. Infant formula is heavily regulated and almost all identical. Midwives used to advise sticking to one formula but I don't think there is any evidential basis for that.

HiPP online have the starter packs with teats. I came across this on their website the other day as never seen them being sold in shops, if you would prefer to start on HiPP from day 1?

I would imagine like normal formula, if you bought now probably till March next year 2019 . I think formula has a shelf life of 6 months approx. I would purchase a few boxes in September to be ready and I'm sure that will be fine. In fact I've just ordered some products off HiPP yesterday and had an email saying it's on the way, so seem to offer a speedy service.

Hipp online will have an email address for queries i imagine.
They have the ready made with teats in 1 size and ready made to go into sterilised bottles in 2 sizes (i think 90ml & 200ml)
I order boxes of powder and ready made bottles and although i never get dispatch emails they always arrive in 2 days time via hermes delivery.
You also save 2p per box of formula from their website compared to in stores lol!
(Not sure about in euro)
