So my ebf son wouldnt ever take a bottle. I am now offering water in a sippy cup as part of weaning. I wondered if it is possible to put breast milk in it. It would help of I could so I could leave him for a couple of hours - he has reflux so feeds every 2 hours.

I have the munchkin 360 trainer cup

Also do I need to sterilise the pump and cup if i do this? Thanks!

If you’re planning on storing the milk in the cup on the fridge before drinking, yes, sterilise. If you’re just pouring from sterilised container into the cup the then drink, no.

In the fridge, not on it!

Ah ok. I expect i will pump and store in a storage bag for babysitter to tip into cup. The pump needs doing though? I have a breast milk catcher

Depends on the pump. Mine doesn't need sterilising, just washing in hot soapy water. Most things with breast milk don't need lots of sterilising-its different to formula which always needs sterilising. I just go by the instructions that came with it
