Bottle feeding help

My 9mo ebf DD has started accepting a bottle. She's currently getting one a day after her afternoon nap and she will have around 6oz. I'm using MAM bottles with a size 3 teat.

I've never bottle fed before so feel a bit clueless!! She's taking the 6oz in 5 mins or less - is that too fast? Also, the teat seems to keep collapsing which produces loads of bubbles and she's therefore taking in more air. I keep having to take the teat out her mouth to allow it to get back to normal then resume.

What am I doing wrong??

The kellymom has some useful info on paced bottle feeding: kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/feeding-tools/bottle-feeding/
Hope others are along soon with useful advice x

7 nearly 8 month old can do 7/8 oz in under 5 minutes so I’d say, all good! Don’t know much about MAM but we use Avent and are on size 4 I think.

5 minutes sounds about right for an older baby to drink 6oz. Sometimes the teat collapses if the ring is screwed onto the bottle really tightly, you could try loosening it slightly to see if that helps.

I didn't screw it on so tight today, and it was perhaps a bit better but it still collapsed a few times 😩
