Is this just a phase?

DS is almost one and has just learnt to point at things he wants which includes my boobs! He’s pointing and asking for milk all the time, probably once an hour whereas before we were down to a bf morning and night and maybe one in the day about 3pm.

Will he get over the novelty of having milk at his demand? If not am I best restricting feeds to a certain room so he knows not to ask constantly? I want to carry on bfing but he’s feeding more often than when he was a newborn!

Ime it's a phase. Both for the reasons you've given and possibly as he becomes more independent he needs some more reassurance. We had similar and I limited bf to in the house only which worked for us.
