(2 Posts)How can I help reduce colic in my 11 Wk old breastfed baby ? Any particular foods that should be avoided.
I'm not having spicy food or alcohol
Love the title typo
There is no decent evidence I’m aware of that shows any changes in diet reduce colic in a bf baby. Except there is some evidence that babies with diagnosed cows milk protein intolerance may improve by the mother cutting out dairy and colic may be one of the symptoms.
It might be worth discussing colic with a bfc to see if a change of technique might help.
Colic is not well understood though - can you say a bit more about your baby’s symptoms?
