We've spent weeks researching and testing breast pumps and bottles in real homes with real families. Read our baby feeding bottle and breast pump reviews to find out which ones were awarded Mumsnet Best.

(5 Posts)14 week old ds has always refused a bottle. I have been trying with expressed milk since 7 weeks. Family members have tried without me around. We have tried Tommee Tippee closer to nature and the funny nipple shaped Nuk teats. He just doesn't seem to understand what to do with it, starts off kind of chewing on it and then gets distressed if you persist. He is a very sucky baby and I've also tried several different dummies with no success. He breastfeeds like a dream but sometimes I feel like he uses me as a dummy and I'm keen to have a break for a few hours and go to the odd exercise class. Any tips gratefully received!
Ds would only have the MAM bottles from dh if I was out the room!! Had the 0-2 months dummies they do also!!
I've tried MAM dummies but not bottles...will nip into Mothercare later and gave a look, thanks.
Are you near a tk maxx? I got mine for £2.99 each!
MAM are the only bottles we've had success with as well, and the milk has to be really warm. They sell them in Tesco and Asda as well.
She's always been happy with the Avent dummies, although they're a similar shape to the MAM ones so yours might not like them.
