Freezing breast milk - what in?!

I am planing ahead here...am due to be going to my SIL's hen do (and later wedding) in 3 months time and am sincerely hoping that I will still be breast feeding by then (he is 5 weeks old at present) but am also aware that he won't be coming on the hen do! I am also a bridesmaid in a highly un-breastfeeding-friendly dress!
So - hoping to be able to express enough off to freeze for the big days so that MIL can look after the little guy whilst I am on the hen do (24hrs+) and I can give him EBM on the wedding day.
Couple of questions - best to get specific breast milk freezer bags? What else could I use? And how do I judge how much should be in a "feed"? At the moment I can express off perhaps 2oz at a time (but it is improving so hoping that I will be better at it by then too) but this doesn't keep him "going" very long. Any advice appreciated!

Bog standard resealable freezer bags work just fine, but I'd assume that it will keep in the fridge. Is the idea to build up a stock over time and then use it when you aren't around ?

I bought those avent tubs that you can put a teat onto, I found them really handy, plus later on I used them for purees.

Lansinoh sell bags for freezing breast milk. They are good because you can stand them upright (making pouring easier) and because they have a gauge on the side, so you can see how much milk is in each bag. Mothercare sell them.

Boots do them too - that's what we've used. They sound as though they are much the same as the Lanisoh ones.

I was under the impression that you shouldn't use ordinary bags because they are designed so that the plastic doesn't leach into the milk. But that may just be me falling for marketing.

You will get much better at expressing - and 2oz isn't bad going for now at all - and the bags take a bit over 4 oz. I used to stack up a day's expressing in the fridge, and then freeze when I had a full bottle. How much he'll be taking by then is anyone's guess!

I think the main advantage of those bm bags is that they're sterile. Can you sterilise normal freezer bags?
