Need help with Dr Brown bottles and steriliser

I've just unboxed my Dr Brown bottles and microwave steriliser gift set ad baby is coming tomorrow! However the larger bottles are too tall for the steriliser as I'm unable to close the lid. Has anyone else has this problem and what did they do? I find it odd, this comes as a set but doesn't fit the bottles. Also panicking as when I return home, I don't know how I'm going to sterilise the bottles or what to buy to ensure it fits the bottles... Help please!

I didn't have this type but in mine you put all the tall bottles upside down in the large but at the bottom and all the tops, caps teats etc in the top basket.

It’s been a few years since I used them, but remember the microwave sterilising was ace. I used glass bottles, big and small. The small ones went in upright but the large ones went in at an angle. There were tabs/notches in the base of the microwave steriliser. Does yours have these?

Good luck for tomorrow!

I would return the steriliser and use a cold water steriliser with supermarket own brand tablets. So much easier.

Smitff if does but as they are the wide neck bottles they dont fit in the slots to allow for the tilted angle. After some research it seems this is a issue. I think I'll have to buy another steriliser which is so silly as it comes as a set

Oh is this the one where they're tilted sort of precariously? I hated my Dr Brown steriliser so much I got rid of it and the bottles within days I think.
