How to get end baby to take expressed milk from a bottle?

Just that really, DS2 is 10 weeks old and screams at the bottle if we try him on it. We managed to get DS1 to take one and it was so amazing to have the odd break and some flexibility, but everything we try with this baby isn't working. The most success we've had is at DS1's tea time if DH goes off to another room for a bit but even then it's not much and this isn't always possible with work/timings if last feed etc. I've always read it's best for someone other than me to do it but is it worth me giving it a go so we can avoid the overtired bedtime feed until he's used to it?

Please give me your advice!

That should read ebf in the title - damn you autocorrect!

We started a few weeks earlier and I am still v new to this so don't take my word as anything other than a one off experience- but what worked for my reluctant girl was for both DH and me to be around to give the bottle. I'd put my LG on the breast for a minute, then gently break the latch and DH would swoop in with the bottle. This would result in a few sucks, and we repeated the process a few times. Initially she pulled off the bottle after a really short time, but it increased a bit over the next couple of days, then we re-offered the bottle after she spat it out on day...4 I think it was. She's been fine since. We did also, after the first night, use a faster flow teat for a couple of days which isn't recommended but I think gave her the idea that this was an easy way to get fed. I don't know if it's relevant but this was all done using expressed milk, not sure if you are offering this or formula- as presumably they taste different?

Uhhhh derr, just read the title again. Clearly it is expressed milk and I cannot read. I'm going to blame the sleep deprivation.

DS is 16 weeks old and initially took the bottle half heartedly at 12 weeks, then about 14 weeks started refusing, screaming etc. I heard evenings were the best time to try and it worked best for us, also varying the temperature til you find one that suits best. DS is also having a clingy stage so I gave him a bottle for a few days, then DH with me in the room and now I can go out of the room.

I tried instead of DH a moment ago, DS thought it was a fantastic game and laughed whilst pushing it out of his mouth, he didn't even seem to take the milk that came out, just dribbled it everywhere. Better than screaming though I suppose. Must keep persisting..
