Surely it's wrong to have a bf mother symbol denoting the babychange?

Shall I write and complain?

It was at the Moto services north of Stamford.... symbol of a mother with baby in her arms (which people here have linked to in the past as a symbol for bf) but it was just a perfectly normal babychange facility - toilet, sink, nappy bin and changing table.
Nowhere to actually feed a baby (not that I would do it in there personally) unless you sat on the toilet.

Now personally I'd rather have it accepted that we could bf anywhere rather than special facilities for bf, but I think Moto are missing the point somehow, aren't they?

Err - not every woman who has a baby in her arms is breastfeeding you know. Am not normally contencious, but surely an overreaction to a normal sign here?

Good point about it not necessarily denoting BREASTfeeding, LilRedWG - but it comes to the same thing in the end because you couldn't really bottle feed your baby in there either, unless you like doing it sitting on the toilet.

I'm not saying it's a huge issue, btw, just that they've got the sign wrong.

Surely the usual symbol for a babychange is a baby?

(If it was meant to exclude dads that would be a big issue IMO though - it drives me mad when dh comes back from going off to change our dcs and says 'you'll have to do it - it's in the women's toilets'!)

Moto changing areas are vile - i'd never feed ds in there! i'll always go in the cafe by preference.

It was indeed vile.
