Food ideas for uninterested baby... help!!

Baby is 6.5 months and BF every 1.5-2 hours day and night I know, he's snacking...that's a whole other thread. It is relentless and I NEED to get him to eat something but he is completely uninterested. Puts some things to his mouth, puts them on his tongue then spits them back out. Have tried BLW approach, parent led, baby using spoon himself, him eating with us, before breastfeed, after breastfeed.... and nothing.
Any magical ideas on how or what I can do/give him?

It comes with time tbh. Dc2 didn't have any interest in food until 10 months despite us trying wish that was the case now, the little gannett. Bananas have always gone down well with mine though & chicken korma. Not at the same time. Essentially just keep offering & eventually something will tempt him.

Why do you need to get him to eat? Is he hungry? Have you tried given him a breadstick, rice cakes, any other "baby snackfood", meatballs, pasta etc that he can pick him himself? He's still quite little so I wouldn't worry at the moment, unless there's a medical reason for him to need to eat solid food.

HV said I need to get him to eat something as he's obviously hungry due to the amount he is breastfeeding and he's dropped through two weight percentiles. I am wondering whether offering a formula top up would be more helpful as weaning is not going as smoothly as i'd hoped and i'm not sure he's ready. HV just didn't seem to understand that he won't eat - he won't even open his mouth for a spoon.

Has he ever taken a bottle OP? You could try a formula top up. HiPP Organic do a nighttime milk that I think includes cereal to make it thicker. Might be worth a try to get him used to different textures.
