I'm down to morning and night BFs with my 10mo and they're becoming brief as he's easily distracted and frustrated with my milk not coming out fast enough. He drinks water in-between those two feeds from a fast flow bottle, but gets frustrated with that too (realise I need to switch him to a beaker with the water.)
I've given him porridge in the past with formula in it but he has hated it and vomited it straight up - every single time. When I switched to giving him porridge with breast milk he took it, so it's not the porridge IYSWIM.
I have also tried giving him formula in the past when I've felt too ill to BF, but he flatly refuses it and/or throws it up.
Not sure what to do now. If he is starting to go off breastfeeding, but doesn't want formula - what's the other option? Or should I encourage him to breastfeed more? If so, how? I don't and have never pumped, so can't start now.
