Start using Mumsnet PremiumSmaller microwave steriliser
(7 Posts)hi
I use the Avent microwave steriliser at my MIL's when travelling and is great but massive.
It doesn't fit in my microwave - can anyone recommend a microwave one thats smaller but just as good?
thanks
would you consider cold water sterilising? just buy a big tuppawear box fill with cold water pop in a Milton tablet. All sterile in 10 mins and the water solution lasts 24hours.
When I bought a manual Tommie Tippee breast pump, it came with a microwave steriliser which is small and I use it to sterilise bottle on demand. Not sure how many you wanted to sterilise at once and it might be a bit pricey if you don't require a pump, but it is very small and portable
thank you! i'll take a look at options above
Wilko's used to sell a really good one for the microwave. Brilliant for travel as it acts like a storage for anything because it's a handy rectangular shape.
Oh, I see from the Wilko website it's not online, so not sure if they still sell it in store? It was in my local store that I saw it and not online.
This one is a lot smaller but the same idea

The one I just posted is also for sale in toysRus.
Or this one from Argos http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5537286?store=471&cmpid=GS001&$ja=tsid:59156%7Ccid:596683589%7Cagid:28645054045%7Ctid:aud-144400486596:pla-196520398165%7Ccrid:96086295085%7Cnw:g%7Crnd:18214907940864219666%7Cdvc:m%7Cadp:1o10&gclid=CjwKEAjwu4JBRDpgs2RwsCbt1MSJABOY8and2C0ctE0xZLuCrqDKpc0zJQ2jo1yMY6nYzYzaJRbthoCdbzw_wcB
