My DD is 8 months old. We started weaning at 6 months but it's only really the last 2-3 weeks she's started to eat more at mealtimes, and often it's still a bit hit and miss. She refuses spoons so it's all finger food apart from yogurt which she sucks out of a reusable pouch. All fine, I can live with this.
Thing is, she's gone from feeding (BF) every 3.5ish hours when she wasn't really eating solids to demanding really frequent feeds through the day, but only staying on for a minute or two most of the time. So she might have a bit on waking (or not depending on night feeds), after breakfast, mid morning, after lunch, mid afternoon, after tea, then a big one at bedtime and 3+ during the night.
She's really insistent with her demands but loses interest so quickly. I'm starting to wonder if it's a supply issue or if it's just a result of moving to solids but surely she should be dropping feeds rather than adding more at this age?!
Any thoughts on why she's doing this or what I should be doing here? TIA!
