Exclusive pumping - supply dropped

I was exclusive pumping for my almost 6 month old. I had a bad case of food poisoning for a week and my supply has dropped from about 850ml per day to 650ml. For medical reasons I am pumping from the right side only, so I need quite a big supply from one side.

I have been better for 5 days and my supply has not recovered, and I have had to give my baby formula top ups, but he doesn't really like formula and rejects it and cries unless he is nearly asleep. I have been taking fenugreek and eating oatmeal and pumping more often than before. I would really like to get my supply back! Has anyone experienced anything similar and do you think my supply might still recover? I have lost a couple of kg - could this be why the supply has dropped? I don't really want to gain it again as it was excess pregnancy weight anyway, but I would if it would make my supply come back!

Just a thought but if your little one is nearly 6 months have you started them on solids yet? Maybe that's why your supply has dropped?
Or if you start weaning soon then you may not need as much milk soon anyway? I'd just keep doing what you are doing, make sure you are drinking lots of fluids, can you add it extra pumping sessions in the night or anything?

Thanks, no not weaned yet, but 26 weeks this week so we are about to start. He hasn't shown much interest in food, but hopefully he'll get into it! I know he will soon be getting some calories from food but I thought it would probably take a couple of months before he's eating enough to reduce the amount of milk?
