Anyone else experienced this?...

I feel as though my eyes are SSSOOOO dry that i am finding it difficult to move them from side to side. Or even open or close them. This is regardless of how much water i drink. I just cannot seem to quench my thirst.

It does make you really thirsty in the early weeks but not heard of the dry eye problem. Are you sure you haven't got an eye infection?

What about trying Optrex drops or splashing them with cold tea etc?

It sounds awful!!

last time i couldn't wear contact lenses or anything as they were so dry and i had tried the extra moist lenses.

This time i couldnt even imagine trying contacts as they are so dry ALL the time.. dd is only 10 days maybe it will settle..?

I hope that it does settle soon, I know that the thirst calms down so maybe the two go hand in hand?

I'll ask at my peer support councellor class tomorrow if anyone's heard of it before.

dry eyes & bf don't go together that's why I suggest you ask your doc on the cause of the dry eyes.

Is this your first baby? You are probably more tired that you ever have been in your life - and it's showing physically.

would suggest a visit to your gp & a blood test for thyroid. Too much can cause dry eyes - as well as other symptoms. Might not be this though!!! - don't want to worry you - bu get it checked. Your commment on having loads of energy & dry eyes makes me think of this.
