We've spent weeks researching and testing breast pumps and bottles in real homes with real families. Read our baby feeding bottle and breast pump reviews to find out which ones were awarded Mumsnet Best.

(2 Posts)Hello! First time mum, so just need some help/advice really!
Had my little boy 3 weeks and 2 days ago, he's also currently breastfed.
All last night and this morning he's been sick a little more than usual, and rather than it looking quite liquidy it has tiny bits of white chunks in it, so thicker than usual.
He doesn't seem dehydrated at all, still loads of wet and pooey nappies, fontalle (sp?) isn't sunken.
He's cried once while being on the breast, but doesn't usually cry when being sick at all. I just panic really because I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong?
I do burp him after every feed before paying him back down.
Is this normal behaviour or is there anything else I can do to help him? Makes me just feel so sorry for him
Totally normal. Its called posseting. It can sometimes seem like a lot particularly when they are tiny.
The white stuff is fatty bits of milk. You will notice seeds of it in his poo too
