Switch to fast flow teat or not?

My DS is 10 weeks old, and after a multitude of feeding problems (cows milk protein allergy coupled with severe reflux) things are starting to get easier!
However, over the last few days, he will show hunger cues, take the bottle in his mouth, take a few absolutely furious sucks on the bottle then get frustrated, come off, cry, root for the bottle again, then do the same thing. He does this over and over until he's finished the first ounce, then calms down a little and feeds properly. But even then, he seems to be sucking really really hard!
We are using medium flow teats at the moment as we had the same problem with slow flow and things improved when we moved to medium flow. The fast flow teats say suitable from 4 months though Confused Should I try them anyway?

I'd say go for it - we did similar and it was fine

If you're using Tommee tippee bottles- try the vari flow ones, they're really good! But otherwise, sounds like the next level of teats sounds right. Took DD a couple of days to adjust to not needing to suck quite so hard but then was fine

IVE bought some, so will give it a go tonight!
Looks like my boy is an impatient, greedy monster like his Dad Grin
