Infant feeding

Reflux

My 11 DD seems to have some of the symptoms of silent reflux - wriggling/back arching during feed, crying and refusing to take more than about 2oz was previously taken about 5oz).
We took her to GP at about 9 weeks - dr wasn't convinced and asked me to persevere for few days as it could have been a reaction to her jabs. Did that over the weekend but with no improvement started her on infant gaviscon (prescribed by GP). Started on 1/2 sachet as recommended by gp and pharmacist. This soon needed to be increased to 1 sachet as symptoms returned. DD would then take up to 6oz again. We're now back to square one. DD has just had only 1.5oz!
It's making feeds very stressful as I'm worried she's not getting enough.
Any advice??

Ask your doctor for ranitidine as well as gavison. That helped massively for us. Good luck

Second vote for ranitidine! Helped our little one in just a couple of days. Hope things improve soon
