Start using Mumsnet PremiumChanging Teat Sizes
(3 Posts)Hi,
My DD is 7 months and has been on MAM size 2 teats since she was 2 weeks old. We had to change from 1 to 2 as she is on comfort milk.
I have tried size 3 teats a few times but she gulps her milk and I feel like taking on more air with them.
Question is, do I have to put her into size 3's at some point or can I stay on 2's if she seems happy with them?
Thanks!
Looking at there website it says for her age it's a size 3 or size x. (Hope that makes sense to you as I am using Dr brown) but I am on comfort milk also and found a bigger size flow too fast but my dd is 3 months old.
My Dd is almost 6 months on comfort milk also. We moved her into size 3s at around 4 months and it look her a few feeds to get used to the faster flow but she is now fine on them. Mam bottles also. We found the size 2s kept clogging up and she'd get frustrated at eat less. Assumed it was the thicker milk
