skin breaking down under boob

only the left one works for breastfeeding, but due to the warm weather etc, the skin keeps breaking down under the boob.

I've used daktacort, it clears up but comes straight back when there's warm weather. It's got hydrocortisone in and my skin is definitely thinner from it so at the moment I've given up trying to tackle it and i'm just trying not to scratch it (so itchy sometimes) and hope for cooler weather. It doesn't seem infected with a fungal infection this time....

any tips for sorting it or just alleviating it would be gratefully received! Been trying not to wear a bra but maybe the bra keeps the boob and torso separate and stops the affected areas rubbing against each other????

Dry underneath really well after shower/bath and put talc on where it gets sore.

It happened to me and the talc sorted it out Smile it's the moisture causing the irritation.

I used medicated powder when my skin was like that from breastfeeding. I think it's called Caldesene or something similar.

Have you consulted your GP?
Might be worth having a couple of swabs done.

Good luck

thanks for all that, went to GP when I got a fungal infection in it but it's ok now. It's the moisture when the weather is warm that I can't stop :-(

A tissue wedged in to keep it dry works for me!
