When did everyone stop sterilising their babies bottles?

Think I did a year with 1st child. For the second, I think when she was crawling at 7 months I just put them in the dishwasher! She never got sick.

I was wondering this myself as when they start weaning food isn't sterile. And I don't sterilise the food bowls. Unless this is something I should be doing Confused

I always sterilised when using f and stopped when we switched to cows milk.

Sorry, to answer that would be at a year old. With ds, pfb I used to wash his dishes, put them on the draining board and pour boiling water over them to sterilise them Blush

When she turned 1 and I switched to cows milk (had to switch back to ff eventually as cows milk didn't agree with her-costs an absolute fortune but anyway-but I still didn't sterilise)
