So I'm lying here next to my 9mo old who has been screaming for the last 90 mins wanting feeding. He has been waking for short pissy little feeds every 2 hrs for the last month or so and tonight was the night when I'd decided enough was enough. I'm knackered, sick of being in a daze all day because I've had disturbed sleep all night.
He feeds well at bedtime, had another good feed at half eleven and feeds/eats relatively well on the day.
I can't believe how much fucking willpower he has. And how loud he can shout. He is shouting, when I talk to him and tell him there is no more milk he shuts up, he isn't uoset as when he cries and gets in a tizz if he's uoset he does the hiccups sad cry thing. He's just shouting at me angrily.
So how long do I give it? My head hurts, my ears are ringing and am even more tired now than I would be normally
I was planning on doing 1 feed around 3.30, so 4 hta after his last one but now thinking I might push through til 6am. He keeps dropping off to sleep then waking and shouting again. I don't want to pick a random time to feed as don't want to 'reward' him for shouting so long. Or is that daft/mean and should I feed him?
Aargh, this is so fucking hard and knackering. Thank god the 3yo would sleep through anything (and my bastard husband snoring away in the spare room )
