Infant feeding

Bad latch?

DS is EBF. He's always been quite windy but for last few days has been awful - really shrieking in pain. He burps but is still in pain afterwards. Tried gripe water, infacol, getting rid of dairy...nothing.

I'm now wondering if it's my latch. I have no pain or discomfort at all, nipples look in good shape when he comes off, he has good weight gain and lots of wet and dirty nappies (though he hasn't pood today which I think is partly responsible for him being so uncomfortable) - however he does bob on and off the boob during a feed and he also makes clicking noises which I know is a sign of dodgy latch. My boobs are huge (H cups) so I don't know if that's affecting his latch. I can't afford a lactation consultant and there's no free breastfeeding support near enough for me to get to easily. Any tips? I do the nose to nipple thing. He's just so bloody windy and I'm sure it's because he keeps bobbing on and off.

If it's relevant he had his eight week jabs on Thursday so maybe he's just more unsettled?
